Komal Shah heads up Global Partner Operations at Poly. In this global role, Komal is tasked with managing partner compliance, helping develop next gen processes internally to aid the success of Poly’s partner community. With 20+ years of channel experience, With a background in purchasing, marketing, merchandising, compliance, and operations, this past year has been a true reminder of how a diverse background in channels (sales/marketing/purchasing/operations) can drive success.

What are your top channel accomplishments:
For me personally, it’s the ability to serve as a business lead on various platform consolidation projects. Having a seat at the able is key but using that seat to drive ease of doing business for our partners — that’s the area you will see a channel advocate thrive in. Tools like PRM, CRM, CPQ, POS, Deal Registration — they are just pieces of a large puzzle. If you can put the pieces together in a way that serves the channel needs of your partner community, you will have a winning solution.
What is your largest channel challenge in 2022?
The largest channel challenge will be testing the waters of our 3rd party partner facing applications to drive the investment we want and the ROI the partners want.
